When you're 20 transitioning from teenhood to adulthood it's normal to feel out of place and aged out of childhood, feeling old. It's the oldest she's ever been. It's easy to hate and make fun, but people forget what a strange time it is growing up and feeling "grown" but not quite "adult".

People under the age of 24 always think they’re infinitely older and more mature than people just 18 months younger than them. Once you hit 32, you realize what a waste of time it was to care about any of that.

But also, I don’t think she’s too old, but I do think it’s fair for her to be tired of the role and not feeling like playing a character going through life experiences that she already went through 5 years go.

Being a child actor was already a recipe for disaster mentally but now we have social media and these child actors over broadcast their immature, poorly thought out takes on things which invites bullying. It is not possible to become a functioning adult under these conditions. I actually think it is smarter now to cast older people as younger because the young simply can't handle fame.

May I remind people of what high schoolers looked like in 80s, 90s, and early 2000s movies… there would be high schoolers that were probably close to 40 in actuality
