Dad bought this album as soon as it came out, played every single day on the car for the next couple months, we didn’t mind it was a great album, but nowadays I just cry remembering listening to this album in the car with my family, even though my parents were about to divorce, this album was one of the few nice memories I have with both my parents being still together, I miss those calm days even when most days were stormy.

it's 2014, I can still remember listening to this album night after night. It was the only thing that could put me to sleep and help me relax. A few weeks prior, I had just escaped from my 2-year domestic abuse situation, so I would be up at night, scared for my life that he might find me or kill me and my family. Thanks to my mom calling the cops on him, I was able to rebuild my life slowly, but surely.

It's been 7 years, and I am in a much better place right now. You know how certain songs remind you of unpleasant memories/take you back to really awful times? Well, this album does not do that for me. I might have been in a really bad circumstance then, but this album reminds me of my strength and resilience. It reminds me of the struggles I've been through, what it took to get where I am now, and how far I've gone. It reminds me of the old me who was fucking ready for a do-over already. I am now 7 years clean (self harm), anti-depressant free, and have been in recovery for just as long. Fuck. I love this album.

This album pretty much summarizes all the emotions one can experience as a human, at least for me. Listening to Ghost Stories triggers so many parts of me, I feel like if someone asks hey what's life on a human body on earth like? Well, listen to this and then you tell me. Listening to this will be a great gift for me once I'm no longer here - just to remember what it was like to be human.

This album is one of those fond memories I have of spending some excellent moments with my best friends while listening to it. In a golf course under construction site, 3 best mates..high and drunk..tired AF..watching the splendid panoramic view.

When I first bought and played this album...it played 24/7 for 4 months....and even now when I put it on to play the CD it plays for for a week. This album made me obsessed with Coldplay. And every time I see Chris Martin....I cry!!!

Es increible que me quedé hasta su cd VIVA LA VIDA, e ignoré esta masterpiece!! hoy la escucho en momento dificiles, y me da paz, muchisima!! gracias Coldplay. Hoy en dia siguen haciendo linda musica, pero yo siempre me quedaré con los recuerdos de sus b -sides y primeros cds, canciones como Bigger stronger.
