I read the books a while ago and this looks way different than the books.

So teens act stupid and irresponsible on a space ship, which apparently is completely unprepared for it. Really hoping the story and writing aren’t terrible, and the movie isn’t incompetent. But if it’s Lord of the Flies in space, then I’m prepared to be disappointed.

I rate the movie a 3/10
There was no dialog nor concept about space or what happened next after theyre gran children finally made it to the planet, it was as if they rushed it and it felt like the whole plot wasn't about going to the other planet, it felt like it was only about sex and murder and lies, that's it.
The directors made it like it was only about hormones and jealousy and murder, not about space or how they're grandchildren finally made it, they didn't even show there grandchildren's faces, not even them going into the planet at the end of the movie, the whole plot felt like a YouTube spoof fan movie or something, just with a high budget.

Terrible film. Lord Of The Flies meets Twilight in outer space. Boring, unimaginative and predictable. Teens sent to outer space to repopulate for new planet. Gee, I wonder what’s going to happen?? The only real twist to this shitty film is how it was able to pull off a PG-13 rating. What a shit show.
