My Thoughts On the Events In Russia & the Jehovah's Witnesses

I am one of those people who in the 60s constantly heard that the end of the world was imminent, all my life I heard my mom tell me that the end was imminent. During the great global nuclear missile crisis (Cuba 1962), the world was holding its breath and all the witnesses said that Jehovah was going to step in and provoke Armageddon.
In 1962 my mom used to say to me: "it can't go on, things are going so badly that it can't go on anymore". All of this has since been forgotten. 13 years later, 1975 arrives, we know the rest. Then 1986, the nuclear tension between the USSR and the USA was at its height, even the magazin cover of the watchtower showed a clock so the hands were missiles indicating midnight minus 3 minutes, all against a background of nuclear apocalypse. The Watchtower couldn't be clearer. To crown it all, the year 1986 had been declared the year of peace and the icing on the cake, the UN itself was the promoter. The Watchtower could not have hoped for better, all the lights were in the green, the long-awaited end was really imminent this time ... then the years passed ... My mom died 32 years later and guess what?
I still hear exactly the same end alerts today as I did 60 years ago. My mom would still be here today telling me the same things over and over again.Today in 2021 I have the impression that I am still in the 60s as if nothing had changed. Crisis after crisis, Jehovism is surfing on anything that could give it any semblance of credibility. This fundamentalist cult has still not understood that crises have been intrinsically linked to humanity for millennia. This “end” is “sold” by the Watchtower Society as being within reach of every follower. Each follower will see it during his lifetime just like my mom. Ditto for the followers in 1892 and for all those who will follow decades after decades. If the Watchtower had appeared in the 17th century it would still say today in 2022 that the end is imminent.

Hey Laura back in the early eighties I said that to my mom I said all you speak about is Doom and gloom another thing Laura back in the 70s they were saying the same thing about Russia they were the King of the North and stuff like that was around 1974 75 they were saying that I was there we always talked about it.
