Maya Bay has been closed for several years because of overtourism, to protect the environment, now the bay is open but the visitors can only enjoy the beach and the view without entering the turquoise waters.

Lovely place, thanks for showcasing the beauty of Thailand. I enjoyed Maya Beach in the morning. The light was soft and seemed to caress the landscape and turquoise water. As you cruised around the islands with their various bumps and dips my mind thought sleeping stone dragons just patiently. Thanks for sharing.
