He does say something here. It looks like ''you'll be okay''. I don't know why they kept cutting things out, though. The sigil, Arthur's 'I love you' - Why shoot those scenes just to cut them out? Either come out with the obvious or stick to the whole Arthur-Gwen plot and be done with it🙄

I’ve seen TLATD. Several times actually. This is absolutely perfect editing. I believe completely that Merlin said that to Arthur. Only regret? Arthur was asleep already and didn’t hear it. Thank you so much for giving us at least this little bit where Merlin was able to declare his love. 🥰

If you watch the original he first mouths "Stay with me" and then you can actually hear him whisper "I love you", but it's all mixed up and I think they just forgot to edit it out because it's barely audible. And they voiced over Arthur's "I love you", the "thank you" makes neither sense nor do the lip movements fit
