Just finished it after having read knife engineering last year. Really enjoyed how you show the historical context and how different steels are related. Also liked the debunking and discussion of certain myths backed by knifemakers' takes on them.

Your timing on this video is quite handy, I recently decided to start my journey down the rabbit hole that is knife making and I just obtained "Knife Engineering" the other day and barely cracked the surface before realizing how little I knew about history new or old. Thank you for conglomerating and making this information available as well as all the testing done to compare various steels as it helped me decide which materials don't want to be using and even pick a couple different billets to shape later when I figure out the heat treatment things I need to gather.
