The city is so big, busy and crowded and has so many centers, that the only way to meet is by utter luck.

OK, Istanbulites, I just had an idea after waking up: lets just ourselves decide on a spot to meet and have a Geograpeep-Party. Then we post the spot here and Barbs can come join. If he doesn't, we still have a nice party. If someone spots him in Sultanahmet or wherever, they could hold him hostage until we all arrive. I'd suggest Üsküdar, because it's not crowded with tourists but has a ferry straight to the touristy parts - but I'm open to other suggestions.

If you go to Kıbrıs Şehitleri Street in Alsancak (in İzmir), eat Boyoz at Dostlar Fırını; Bomba at Çelebi Unlu Mamuller (my favorite is the one with white chocolate but they make it in many flavors), and Cennet Çamuru at Helvacı Ali (it's a sort of soft halva with pistachio and ice cream). A delicious route to take :) I would love to see you but I'm pretty sure I'm not that lucky 🙃 Sending lots of love, have fun in Turkey 🤗
