Status. You’re right, it means nothing. It’s all vanity. King Solomon said it so well. Nothing in this world will remain, only the Kingdom shall prevail. I left the corporate world too. I was a controller for a Fortune 500 company based in Chicago. It was the most stressful experience I’ve ever had. When we set our priorities upon things of this world that are not of God, we learn very quickly the meaning of humility. Thank you for this message, Randy. I have to think we’re going through all of this in trying to “find our strengths” because one day, we’ll be using those strengths in serving the Kingdom of God. Please pray for my friend susan.She had to sell her house because of divorce and is selling most of her things and has to find another place to live. She keeps crying and I am doing all i can to be a good friend to help her...and letting her know all we need is Jesus because He will see us through no matter what!❤ So please pray so she can feel His love which is sufficient !😢 its hard to see a friend who's suffering ! Randy, I grew in an atheist home, broken and wrecked from the beginning. I have lost it all twice, still broken physically, and the pain is excruciating at times. I raised two kids by myself for 9 years. Nothing here matters. We only need things to get by, and bring in as many as possible to heaven with us as we journey here to heaven( if we are saved) ETERNITY really is the biggest thing we can face.

When I was a child my Mom read a book to me titled "Intra Muros" by Rebecca Ruter Springer that was a woman's experience in heaven ( a very old book now) and it changed my life. It made me love and long for the presence of my Savior and Redeemer even more than ever. As an adult I would give copies of the book to people who had lost loved ones to give them comfort. Now I look for stories of heaven that ring true to me. I know the true ones by how they describe how Jesus made them feel.
