I had a stroke last November (25th November 2022 to be exact) I'm 38 years old so it does affect anyone.
Me and my Fiancée where having an afternoon nap, I woke up after an hour and when I went to stand up I fell to the floor. My right side was completely numb. My Fiancée quickly woke up, quickly looked on her phone to find out what was wrong with me and phoned for an ambulance. I was still able to talk to her.
I was in hospital all through December and was let home on January 1st. I worked so hard through that time to learn to walk again and go up and down stairs. I'm still using a stick but only when I go out for reassurance. I'm still working on my right hand and arm because it's still a little numb and I can't feel the texture of something with my fingertips.
I'm hoping it'll come back to me by April-ish.

I had a mojor stroke and I could not remember any of them I was working alone and I keep dropping things only I had a appointment with the doctor the next morning I would have to bed never to wake up again sometimes I whisper I had gone to bed I was big into my fitness &sports it’s all gone I am on the road to recovery but it is slow but as long as I am alive I will keep fighting it I am hopping brain stem cells treatment will help me in the future soon Anthony
