How Do I Afford to Feed All The Homestead Animals and Finish Out My Tiny House?

I've had comments from viewers wondering how we afford to do what we do. I realized from the outside looking in it might seem we spend a lot towards our animals, which in their eyes, could be used towards our houses instead. So, how do we do it?

Several years ago our family moved back to a small homestead that's been in our family for many years. Our goal is to become as self sufficient as possible and get back to a simpler lifestyle. As we build our homestead, we're trying to fix up and use as much as we can from what my grandparents and great grandparents built.

As one of your YouTube subscribers I have never questioned how much money you made, why you never got rid of your animals to save money!! I don't think it's anybody's business how much money you make or how you choose to live your life. OMGoodness, you shouldnt have layed out all your privat expenses! People should understand that you dont make a huge salary and that you still have Miley who is a minor.I think you are experienced and smart enough to not keep animals if you couldnt afford them! You go ahead girl, you got this! I would do it the same way, fix the house up to where it is livable and the rest comes in time and whenever a lil money has been accumulated, right! I also agree that paying off the house is priority 1 so you get that off your neck. It may all take time, but so what-yall are in your own 4 walls, on your own land and can enjoy it too! That yall have too many rouge chickens no problem lol as high as chicken is atm in the grocery store yall will have a nice refill in the freezer and Mama hen just took care of the next batch of egg layers and extra roosters! You're all heart my dear buddy for giving this explaination but frankly its nobody's business to know how much you make and spend, but some people are so nosy! You are honestly spending your money wisely, but I don’t feel that you have to explain your finances to anyone on YouTube. People should really just enjoy the content that you provide to them and learn from it, but not being nosy to get into peoples finances on here. If that being the case then everybody on here should have to give account of how they find their projects but they don’t. I just enjoy your channel, I enjoy being able to see how far you have come since you even started the project. Not wondering hope you pay for it, that is your personal business, sorry I will get off my soapbox now lol. It just irritates me how some people can be on here.
