I plan on getting one, as an older guy getting up off the ground is not my best thing, if I need an extra minute or 2 to navigate the legs I can live with it 😊

Great looking cot for sure 👍 Not a bad price either....

OneTigris missed an opportunity with the gear net underneath. If they had three nets along the entire length of the cot you could stow more gear, use the cot in either direction, or even slide an insulation mat UNDER the cot so you aren't sliding around on a mat ON the cot. Just my two cents.

I bought this cot a couple of months ago when Amazon added the coupon to it. I've used it on three camping trips so far, in both configurations, and it's a great cot. It doesn't take a lot of strength to get the bracket legs secured, and while the extensions are admittedly a bit tedious to attach, it's nothing anyone should be concerned about.

I use a 4.0R Hikenture self-inflating sleeping pad that unfortunately seems to be discontinued, but between that and the cot I get a great night's sleep. If you leave the extensions off, it will also fit into OneTigris's Cosmitto tent (barely) if you don't want to sleep on the floor. It's a pretty incredible value for what you get.

I have to say as a person who lives with a disability I've been in a wheelchair for 46 years since I was 5 years old and I use crutches and the buttons on the legs for this cot are very much similar to the push buttons on adjustable arm crutches that you use to adjust the length of the crutches and sometimes those pushing buttons can become stuck to where they don't want to push in and release to adjust the height up or down and sometimes those buttons even break off I've had crutches where the buttons have broken off and my dad pulled the springs out and ran a bolt through there and put a nut on it and then pound the end of the bolt flat to ensure the nut never came loose.(He thinks outside the box a little better than I do sometimes.) To be honest that works very much better than those spring-loaded buttons. I know and understand that's not an option for this card I'm just saying with the crutches how the spring-loaded buttons are junk.

I got the first version from your recommendation and I absolutely LOVE it.. I use it for motocamping all the time. It fits in my road glide saddle bag perfectly with room for more gear.. not sure how well the new version will fit. But we're gonna find out (got a friend ordering one now).. we appreciate your reviews, they've really helped me put together the perfect kit so far

I've been waiting for Onetigris to come out with a new cot...I really like the fact that it's springy...I can't stand a stiff cot/mattress...I got their newest chair after watching you video on it, and I love it! This looks like the cot I've been waiting for! Keep them vids coming 👍😁

Seems like that's the best sleep gear out now. The weight is more than others but I would still recommend it. I love being outdoors when I can find the right Acer's of land. Carrying that would be a good workout because walking is the best exercise for u. With a little weight keeps your back & spinal area strong keeps extremities going. I'm a Scientist/ Sea Diver most dangerous career but I love it & the channel You are Authentic. Strength & Honor

I have 4 of the original cots. The reason I bought those over other brand was because of the 4 sets of braces. Very stable! Never had an issue with tipping. No problem putting together after they were used 2 or 3 times. They are very springy after 3 or 4 uses. I will not replace them. They weigh less. As for storage, the sacks they came in stink. I have added LL bean mini duffle to use as storage bags. It is easier to get cots back in bags.
I paired them up with Exped Megamats and am very happy with them.

How can you not love those push button legs? Reminds me of the hose joints on my mother's old Filter Queen vacuum! 😄

Thanks Luke. Appreciate your insight and thoughts on this and other gear. Stay safe and God bless.

Great review. I love OneTigris gear and I may add this to my boondocking kit. At very scenic venues I like to sleep outside of my van, i.e. hammock or ground set up. I sleep on a five year old folding Coleman camp cot embellished with foam adding super comfort. Also, the height of the cot allows a ton of storage underneath.

I like the button detents on the legs.

Hey Luke, you can replace those rounded push buttons with angled faces for easy push in for only a couple dollars. Might help your setup speed.

I got this cot for motorcycle camping. We do usually glamping, which means putting up a rather luxurious basecamp, leave the camping equipment there and explore the area on our bikes. As I hate sleeping on the ground, but am not the smallest, this was the ideal choice. I constructed a very elaborate sleepsystem, partly inspired by Zenbivy. The cot easily supports the 80 cm wide mattress I put on it. This mattress is firmly connected to the cot using two zippers I attached lengthwise on both sides. The mattress is inside something of a fitted sheet (a leftover from a Wingman on the Road motorcycle tent. This tent was a bad choice for me, but I loved the sheet with the attached blanket - removable also via zipper).
Regarding the cot, I never had the impression that it topples over or that it could not support my weight. Putting it together is supereasy for me, and installing the long legs is quick and easy for me. Just take a look where the holes for the pushbottons are, press the button on the legs, shove the leg into the hole, turn, click, done. I am so happy I opted for this cot, sleeping experience is almost like at home. I also went for the therm-a-rest deluxe pillow (stuffed it in a compression sack though. This way, it does not take up too much space in my pannier). IMO, with this cot, it was worth it selecting the components carefully to enhance your sleep.
Can only recommend, if you are not hiking and want a bed-like experience. Oh, and getting up is so much nicer than from the ground.

WOW! It got longer! My exact height. Now it's a buy.

My cot weighs over 30 lbs and is quite a bit bigger. In a 4 person tent it takes up about 2/3 the space. With a 4 in self-inflating pad on top, I sleep like a baby when car camping.

Looks like a nice improvement. Seems a reasonable price too.
