I love your Achiuwa selection for Portland. I like Nesmith too and he’d be tough to pass on but with Hood coming back and Trent JR in the fold, I like our shooting at the 3 and backup 2. Achiuwa should fit seamlessly with Nurk, Zach Collins, or Whiteside. I believe he could be the piece we’re missing.

Solid picks dude. Living in PTown and growing up a Blazer fan since the late 80s...I think Portland needs a solid wing. Besides Ariza...they have 2 small wings in N.Little & Trent Jr...I'm not forgetting Hood as he is recovering from his injury. Having that said, Sadiq Bey, T.Vassell and Patrick Williams are my choices in that order...all 3 could play at the 3/4 kinda like Harkless, a player I hope we sign with our MLE. #Ripcity

I'm of the belief that the knicks will draft a PG no matter what with there 1st pick.. but I completely understand your choice. alot of mocks forget to include Deni or have him goin to Atlanta for whatever reason....

Great video! I'm a Blazers fan as well and I think Achiuwa is a great prospect for the Blazers. Getting Collins and Nurk back will definitely help improve their abysmal defense from this past season (and hopefully removing Whiteside and Melo is an addition by subtraction) but I still think they need more players who want to play defense. Achiuwa is in that mold.
Not gonna lie tho, I would be upset if Devin Vassell was still available and the Blazers don't pick him but I have Vassell, Achiuwa and Nesmith as the top-3 on my Blazers big board.

Am I the only one who doesn't see Anthony Edwards being a good player? He's flashy, but he is stupid, a bad shooter, an inefficient scorer, he doesn't play defense, and he's only 6'4. He shoots 40% from the field and 29% from 3. Those are BAD numbers. If an elite defender put up those numbers, you might pick him up with a second round pick, and put him on a tight leash in the hopes that one day, you could put him on the floor one day and let him sit in the corner the whole game. He is NOT an elite defender. He has no hussle. He has no play identification on defense. He makes stupid jumps too often. What's the upside?

I like the mock draft but there is no way lamelo ball gets drafted to Detroit. Lavar wouldn't allow him to play there not a big market and a city. Lamelo is going to force a big city team or a team with a good situation to draft him. The pistons are going to have to draft somebody like Tyrese or rj hampton

If this is how the draft pans out. I could see the Knicks making a trade with the cavs to get melo. Why would the cavs take another guard when they have (Sexton, Garland, KPJ, and Exum). The Timberwolves need help at the 4 to go next to K.A.T. Big O out of USC make way more since than Edwards who maybe too similar to Wiggins who they just traded. I would love too see Edwards stay home in the ATL or go to the cavs. I would love too see Halliburton or Hayes fall to Detroit either one of them would be great. Toppin to the sun meh I think the sun could go for a draft day sleeper in Reed, Vessell or even Hampton who may be a better fit than Obi. If the Knicks do miss out on Melo. Halliburton or Anthony have to be the pick. The spurs too don’t need another guard when they have (Mills as of right now. Murray, White, and Forbes). I personally don’t think this team for the blazers will not work unless they get a elite defender at the 3.

Onyeka is definitely the safer pick because of his ability to guard every position and he knows how to defend the pick and roll efficiently.. James Wiseman has more trouble with it but has shown flashes of playing great defense.
