Simple DIY: How to Replace Road Bike Shifter Hoods

Replacing these shifter hoods (bracket covers) made my road bike feel like it was new again, and I would highly recommend replacing these if they are torn or stretched out. For removal of the old hoods, you can also just use scissors to cut them off, but I found it good practice to remove by hand

New hoods but already stretched. I would rather remove shifters from the bar and slide hoods from the opposite side
