Istanbul-Turkey - Şişli - City walking Tour
Şişli is an affluent area with upscale hotels, fashion boutiques, and shopping centers including the Istanbul Cevahir mall. Chic restaurants serve European and global cuisine and cocktail bars cluster on and around Halaskargazi Street. The Atatürk Museum displays documents and mementos in the house where Turkey’s first president lived, while the imperial Ottoman Ihlamur Kasrı palace is known for its peaceful gardens.
Kurtuluş is a district of Istanbul, formerly known as Tatavla meaning "horse stable". It lies within the cosmopolitan neighborhood of Şişli. Its population is of Turks who moved there mostly after the Republic of Turkey was founded, Greeks, Armenians, Kurds, and Jews.
