This could be a great first step into the world of EV's for a lot of people. I see the ATTO 3 all over Melbourne, I think because it was the cheapest "family" electric SUV for a long time. The MG SZ EV is now under $35K here, so I expect to see more of those on the road soon, but when the E5 arrives, it could easily take that mantle. I'd even consider trading my "aging" 2021 MG SZ EV for one.

BYD is going to be better once their next generation blade battery goes out to market. For the meantime it's Geely now who's holding the most efficient and safest EV battery in the market.

The best feature you dont mention, thats the Aegis short blade LFP-batteries, much more energy dense than them from BYD, more charging speed, still high capacity at low temperatures..they are next level!

Issues with these vehicles is the charging speed. If they were 150KW+ charging they would dominate the market

Cant wait to go and see the ex5 actual car that is debuting this month in my country. I do hope it has better build that ATTO3 as, i think atto3 is a cheapo

My question is, which geely vehicle are you referring to when u compare it with BYD.
We have a 2020 x70 (boyue in china) it its quality are better then Otto 3 we get in 2024.

Why is the E5 moniker so popular? There is Chery Omoda E5 and there is Geely Galaxy E5. They should have used O5 and G5 respectively.
