hi everyone! Welcome to my college decisions reactions video :)

I applied to a total of 12 schools (Stanford, USC, Caltech, MIT, Pomona, UCLA, UC Berkeley, UPenn, Columbia, Princeton, Yale, & Harvard). It was a very long and difficult journey filled with lots of laughter, crying, crying, and more crying, but I am so grateful for this entire process. I’m beyond blessed to have teachers, friends, family, and mentors who have supported me throughout all these years, and I’m so excited for the amazing things to come!

To all my class of 2024 friends, you are amazing and please don’t base your self-worth based on your college rejections or acceptances. Best of luck to all of us and cheers to what’s to come!

I say this as someone attending Yale. While I’m loath to admit it, I recommend you go with Stanford. Don’t get me wrong, I love it here, but you can’t beat that California weather!

You didn't get rejected by those colleges. They just know with your academic credentials and curriculars, you'll have offers from more exclusive colleges and therefore they prefer to keep a vacancy for others who might not have the same opportunities as you.

Congratulations on getting into Stanford and Harvard! Both schools are fabulous! I went to Harvard for undergrad and had a fabulous experience and then went to Stanford and got an MBA. Both are fabulous choices!
