What about considering tectonic plates in your "defitinition"? Wouldn't that help introduce a major geological-geographic concept into your attempt to explain what a continent is?

3:06 is the correct be as it's the only geographical explanation. I gather this information under "Geography" because of it's Geographical nature.

So Europe and Asia are really Eurasia.

Africa joined to Eurasia and the 2 Americas joined at the Isthmus are a little more indistinct

Australia is a Continent = geographical
Oceania is a Region = geopolitical
