Yep. We were painting the walls for my husbands mothers rent house. One gallon of paint on the carpet with little plastic on it. We were sliding the plastic and the whole can spilled. We had to replace her carpet too. It happens. A funny one was when we were painting a rusty shed. The two year old was playing in the yard. We turned around to find he had painted his face, arms and legs with brown oil based paint. You will laugh about it in the future.
