I think i already commented on this video before but goddamn. I come listen to this so often. This version makes the original sound like the cover. Something about your voice makes this sound so personal that the lyrics could only have come from you. And you flow through your piano arrangement like the notes are liquid. I’m a musician myself, and I hardly ever hear a performance and think “I wouldn’t have changed a thing”. You really own this song to me.

Lazy Eye becomes a somber church song. My daughters thought the original was sung by a girl. This really turns that on its head. We now love both versions!

i love this song and i've been listening to it for a really long time and silversun pickups was one of my favorite bands for a long time and they are from silverlake, ca. that was a phenomenal rendition! tysm!
