The population chooses by voting a leader. Netanyahu is the mainstream leader of the people. So saying 'far', 'ultra', 'extreme' are just meaningless words when in fact there's clear majority government. Its the far left and far right are the minority outliers.

It's very clear that if we try to understand the Arab-Israeli conflict from our modern Western value scale, we are going the wrong way. We must start from the graph of a scenario, where the population, secularized or not, is heir to ideas and ways of life with profoundly non-Western roots.
This being the case, we must not forget that part of the religious sector, both Islamic and Jewish, are not usually part of the traditional formal educational system, being conditioned to the order of their leaders, where dissenting political opinion is totally repressed.

On the other hand, in this order, the aggressive and violent speech is part of the regional political folklore, either in the Arabic language in the case of the Arab territories or in the Hebrew language in the case of the state of Israel. Therefore, to speak of common sense as conceived by Western natural thought is totally useless. Yes, I believe that, in this aspect, the modern Western world has done a fantastic job within the global social order on its way to the civilization of the peoples, mainly under the American leadership.

Without a doubt, Benjamin Netanyahu is a good choice within the Israeli political spectrum, since he is a man with great experience within the Western world, although my criticism of him can be seen reflected in the fact that he seems to forget that Israel is not Western and the western recipe is not a magic recipe but rather responds to certain conditions typical of western history.

Indeed, we must recognize that the state of Israel is a state with your own identity and not every concession to the most radical groups unconditionally is the most viable measure, since Israel is not a nation of Western tradition but rather a Jewish and any radical measure by the state has a direct impact on "the entire population."

On the other hand, I don´t want to be unfair and fall into political partisanship, since the Arab-Israeli conflict is profoundly complex, but without a doubt, this is the cause of the criticism of Zionism within certain wings of the Western world, since that the West cannot conceive the practice of certain policies interpreted as anti-Palestinian by the state of Israel. However, many of these practices respond to the regional realities of their geography, where the analogy with the West is totally absurd. Hence, many of these measures take us all by surprise.
