Just a suggestion, maybe suggest also your favorite extension to use with VSCode to automate most of the common boiler templates of react native.

I've learned and used React. Somehow the React hooks like useState and useEffect still are the most confusing things for me. Now having to learn React Native with inadequate short tutorials like yours has been difficult.
