FFXIV Shadowbringers patch 5.25 How to unlock and obtain the resistance relic weapon

In order to unlock and obtain the resistance relic weapon u need to beat ivalice 24 man raid in stormblood in kugane. After that talk to the npc next to the grand company chest to start the long journey to unlock the weapon. Each subsequent relic weapon after your first will cost 1000 poetics for each sand need 4. In mor dhona auriana and hismena in idylshire under special arms. Go back to zaltin on gangos to unlock subsequent relic weapons.

After Dramaturge in Prima Vista you need Hail to the Queen in Kugane to start the quest line.

That level 70 quest you pick up in Kugane has a pretty long chain to follow with multiple 24-man raids in it. It's like the Crystal Tower stuff. It's interesting how it's gated like that. The landing in the Doman Enclave doesn't even exist on my map yet lol. Just that watchtower and the docks. Kinda cool.

Hey man I know I'm really late to the party, I'm really new to the game. Is this relic weapon required? When Endwalkers drops, will it be replaced? Should I worry about it as a new player? What happens if I can't get the relic before Endwalker? Do I gimp myself out of a useful weapon for endwalker or just cool glamour? Sorry for all the questions, I just don't wanna miss out on something potentially huge for my class. Unless it's just glamour, I wouldn't care as much because as a new player EVERYTHING looks cool lol.
