BTS' eldest member Jin has finally raised the curtain from his much awaited first set of concept photos for his forthcoming debut solo album Happy, set to hit the shelves on November 15.
On October 17, BIGHIT MUSIC, the label behind K-pop supergroup BTS revealed the eagerly anticipated first set of multi-media for Jin's upcoming debut solo album Happy. The photos and clip-themed Journey, show Jin looking charming as ever, dressed in warm attire. In the video clip Jin can be seen taking on his favorite activities, like playing tennis, cooking, eating or soaking in the sun.
The announcement of Happy came on October 14, confirming that the album would feature six tracks, each with its own unique sound while maintaining a band-oriented musical style. The album aims to encapsulate Jin's quest for happiness, using heartfelt lyrics and inviting tones to convey messages of joy and comfort. It's an invitation for listeners to join Jin on this emotional journey and experience his personal reflections on finding happiness.
The tracklist, revealed on October 16, includes songs such as the main track Running Wild, I'll Be There (pre-release single), Another Level, Until It Reaches You, Heart on the Window, and In Yearning/Longing. Fans were especially thrilled to learn that Heart on the Window will feature a collaboration with Wendy of Red Velvet, adding an exciting dynamic to the album. In the lead-up to the main album release, Jin will also be releasing I’ll Be There on October 25.
Happy is set to release on November 15, 2024, at 2 PM KST, corresponding to 10:30 AM IST, with pre-orders opening on October 15. Fans can place their pre-orders for the album, which will be available in 3 unique versions namely, Journey, Imagine, and Navigate, through online and offline retailers, with the pre-order period running until November 14. Additionally, the album is now available for pre-save on various streaming platforms such as Spotify and YouTube, allowing ARMY to prepare for its release.
As BTS' eldest member, Jin has long captivated fans with his warm vocals and charming personality. His first solo album Happy promises to be a continuation of that charm, offering a window into his pursuit of joy and growth as an artist.
