Sometimes, the trials we face in life are a result of our own doing. Sometimes they are a result of a wrong committed against us. But there is little doubt we are surrounded by people facing unfair circumstances in every direction we look.

Thank you for reminding me how fortunate I am and to never forget that we each have our own battles, most not apparent to those around us. 🙏

So thoughtful.
My eyes burst in tears

Thank you for acknowledging the struggles of others. I am one of those people who have been hit hard by the deaths of two grandchildren under two months of age, by the loss of employment for myself, by the loss of health caused by genetics, by the loss of love. Like you, I look around me, and I see people who are also struggling. A simple kind word or act of kindness can help people to choose to live. Thank you.

Thank you for recognizing that although we may all be given the task of digging a 6x6x6 foot hole each day, we have not all been given a shovel to dig with. Some of us find ourselves having to do the task with a tablespoon. Others look at the size of the hole at the end of the day and label us as lazy when we have actually worked way harder to accomplish the little that we have.

Joshua, I look at every one of your video’s, this one my friend is so heartfelt, and will make all of your viewers Stop, and Think, and at the end of the day remember to say our prayers and say Thank you for a Blessed day.
I lost my Dad three weeks ago, after two months of hospice care, and this video is just what I needed.

This is a very important message about what really matters. There are so many people who get up everyday and do what needs to be done, in the midst of great adversity. They are the heroes of this world.

I have battled depression on and for about 7/8 years now. Suicide has come close due to the guilt that I feel for just being alive. I see that I have a fortunate life but don’t feel like what I do is worthwhile. I don’t feel that I can make a difference in life. I don’t have any real skills, no passions to strive for, I have hurt the people around me through this and I don’t feel like I can relate to anyone. Just feel out of place in life and to wake up everyday feeling like I don’t have the reason to do anything because it all feels meaningless and makes no real impact. Plus the anxiety on the world around me the political corruption, climate change, coronavirus, extreme poverty, inequality in society, just all of this added up makes me feel life isn’t worth living but everyday I get told it is, to battle this everyday is clearly a struggle. Thank you for this video Josh!

Thank you for this. We have been through some very difficult things in the past few years, from work related, to financial, to health, to the loss of our teenage son. By God's grace we keep getting up, but sometimes it is very hard. God is good and thankfully I know this world isn't my home.

This Video was in my thoughts a lot, very provocative, So different from the 'world's view'. So I watched it again today. A week ago, I went to my ex-bible study reunion. In the past decades I was not able to work due to the result of unloving family - the group members were never interested in who I am and what I do, even I give a lot eg driving them, give them money, visiting the sick etc. During this reunion, I finally realised those that got the most attention/interest are those that are outwardly beautiful or 'Successful' - expensive house, overseas trip, beauty(makeup, cosmetic surgury, hair & beauty treatments). Once I see the truth, it is So freeing! Not that I am not good enough or do enough, that is just how people see Success and Worth! God loves us unconditionally! If we turn it inside out, and value the inner beauty as Success - it will be interesting to 'see' who is on the inside and who is out! It is sad, but that is reality! This Video is a good reminder that I do my best to praise and encourage the 'hidden' Ture Heros.

Thank you so much Joshua for these words. Both my husband and I have struggled in life. I have been dealing with a chronic autoimmune disease for 40 years and it’s a daily struggle. Both my husband and I have often ask each other why is that the most beautiful and physically fit people get rewarded just for the way they came into this world? Atheletes and actors/models, etc. are paid so well for their “successes”. Why is success viewed by how much money you make? There are different ways to view success and it’s not always by what you have in your bank account. Everyday people who have huge challenges and get up every day and do what they have to are successful in my eyes.
By the end of this video I could hardly see the screen because of my tears. It’s so nice to know that someone other than myself views success the same way I do.😊❤️🙏

Joshua I really needed to hear this today. My husband and I have two beautiful children. My 4 Yr old son has severe autism and a severe global developmental delay. We struggled so hard over the weekend. We feel that the only time people see us is when my 4 year old isn't coping. They see us by giving us dirty looks and nasty comments about our 'misbehaving child'. Today you gave me the strength to keep going. Thank you

Amen, thanks for these warm thoughtful words. It was a tough year... so here is to
My husband who lost his father and takes care for his mom since then
My best friend who just started chemotherapy against breast cancer
My mom who takes care of my grandpa who has altzheimers
My friend who struggled and got to know herself in a different way
To my sisters boyfried who is suffering of a heart disease and will have to take care the rest of his life
I see you but I should tell you more often that I do so.

Bravo! This was a beautiful, compassionate video. Thank you for reminding us of the need to be kind to everyone, you never know what challenges they are going through every day. I applaud you for speaking out and putting this on Youtube

From a single mom who has never thought about it this way
But who has forever felt guilty because she worked too many hours wasn't able to put her kids in all the extra activities wasn't able to teach a son what it's like to have a dad
I bought into all those things you hear in this world guilty guilty guilty
Now tears of relief
that someone sees me how hard I've tried never dated
or would never have had time with my children at all Hearing from my children how I was never there. Now their
parents and finally understand .
God and I made an army
He never left me He got me thru I look back in awe at
the wonder of it
I lived it
When you get to the point God is all you have it is when you realize God is all you need
God always saw me and my needs. The world sometimes
is lonely The advice sometimes
hurtful But God literally held
me up when I could no longer
put one foot in front of the other He IS love. I learned the meaning if you know God you will never be lost
Thank you for this video

Yes, all these invisible heroes....and they are everywhere.Auntie Flory (the closest to English translation of her name I could think of) - she is retired and could happily enjoy her pension, little rose garden and dog, but she looks after local homeless - washes and mends their clothes ( even their underwear...), cooks for them, invites them home when it is cold, urges them to take a shower at her place regularly so that they could feel like humans - they need help, she says and that is a reason good enoug for her to do it ...Another one - The Cat Lady - rescues all stray cats and dogs around, she owes thousands to local vets, people wouldn´t sit next to her on the bus as, of course she smells of cats .She isn´t that insane type who needs pet as company, completely rational being who is fully aware of how she stands in local society - and still, next time she will go again on the rescue... Maybe these forgotten, forsaken and mocked people are the only reason why God hasn´t sent us all down to hell yet. Thanks for todayˇs video, you are better and better with every new one.... Cpt. Thank you for this message....some days I cope other days are difficult
It's good to know that I am supported and not judged even if you don't know me
Some things are beyond my control, but I do my best every day and would so love to just function and have a simple peaceful life!
This is one of your best video I've warched so far cos it's easy to do good when things are going well but so harder on darker days.
I bless you!

I love your videos but this one especially! I work in a field that provides employment services for individuals with all types of disabilities/challenges. I am reminded of their true heroism, meeting each day’s challenges and never really being recognized by society because they never did anything “stupendous” . Thanks for recognizing them! 😊
