DVC member since 2009. Own at BLT and AKV. Love the advantages of extra bathrooms in the 1 and 2 BRs. Haven’t stayed in a studio in a while. But I love riviera and grand Floridian stayed there my last two trips. I did club level Savannah view once at jambo for Christmas. It was so worth the points. My best beach club location I was able to take that first path on right from Epcot bridge. Iykyk

We've never stayed in a DVC studio, only 1 & 2 bedrooms. This was our plan from day 1.

My life has been a bit chaotic lately and usually listen to the new episodes while I’m doing operational things at work. It’s been about a month since I was able to listen to same day. I bought BLT for the location, you can walk to Magic Kingdom, saves you a load of time. You park at BLT, no charge for members. The view from your room looks at Mk . You can see the fire works from your room . You are connected to the Contemporary Resort. The studio is small but the least point use. 1 and 2 bedrooms are very spacious. From the Contemporary you can use the Monorail to get around.

We had a 1st floor Paddock at Saratoga and actually liked it; was easy hanging by the pool and grabbing food from the room.

We got 6 nights in a 2BR at Grand Californian this June at the 7 month window. It took 3 weeks of early mornings, stalking the site and piecing together 1 night stay reservations and having member services combine them into the combined stay and the end.

We did exactly what Jeff recommended on our recent Aulani stay. Originally we had the Luau booked for the last night of our stay, but we decided to cancel and just watch from our balcony with Monkeypod takeout!

We stayed 2 weeks at Bay Lake in a studio. We were thrilled. We kept seeing people complain about the rooms size, so we expected a sad vacation. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised.... the balcony kind of extended the room. It was great, we loved it and was sad to leave. Saw EPCOT fireworks from our room! Will go there again after we finally get to stay at our home - Boulder Ridge for 1st time in November.

In Aulani the rooms overlooking the garden lawn are great you see the luau and hear the music, and get a partial ocean view from most of those rooms we had a mountain view in January that was the worst view we have ever had there

When I was there last January 2024, They were in the process of converting grand floridian 1st floor 3 bedroom into dvc personel offices. They had removed most furniture and had brought in desks.

My only thought was those must be the most expensive office space ever considering the points locked up.

This was an interesting and entertaining show! I agree with Derek 100% about the theme park view at BLT. We had a two bedroom with our daughter, son-in-law and our three grandchildren. The room was very spacious and we loved all of the bathrooms. The huge window looking out towards the park was amazing until you got a little closer to it and saw the parking lot and sea of cars stretching toward the park! What a shock that was! lol. And Beach Club? Again I have to agree with Derek, the only reason for staying there is the close proximity to Epcot and the boardwalk. We were once in a studio with one of those tiny balconys and had a nice view of the alligators below in the water and the cards flying by on the street beyond that! Last time we were on the first floor very close to the pool and people were walking by constantly going to and from the pool or their rooms. No privacy a'tall around there! lol
