I'm Australian. Lived in Mexico for a year in 2022. Going back in January 2024 to live. Loved it. Was in Bucerias, made many friends and was very safe. Also visited Mexico City and Guadalajara. Also very safe. Go where you're treated best 😃

We actually left the United States and are living here in Mexico now! So much less depressed and so much more happy with life! Such beautiful people in an amazing country with so much to offer!

Lived in mexico for half a year in 2022 and let me tell you, I personally felt safer there than I've ever felt than im USA or Canada. In Mexico the people are genuine, warm and very friendly. Media only shows the negatives sadly. In Mexico I don't fear some lunatic with mental disorders is going to harm me unlike in the other mentioned countries. Am looking forward to returning there to live again, absolutely amazing place to live in most aspects especially socially and safety.

I've been living in Mexico for two years now. My wife is a Mexican citizen and I'm from Reno, Nevada. We've never been victimized by ANY crime. The people, culture, architecture, the food, cost of living and the lower levels of stress makes Mexico more attractive to live. I agree that most large cities in the states are more dangerous than in Mexico. As in most places, if you're aware of your surroundings, mind your own business, and don't get involved with the wrong people, you're fine...

I live in BCS, have dual citizenship and am scared when I go to the US. I live here by myself - a widow - and feel safer in Mexico than the US.

In other words America is lying about the safety of their own cities, while simultaneously telling people NOT to leave these dangerous Urban city centers so that they can keep their money there And deal with the inflation AND a lower living standard? Wow! That's crazy now that I think about it. That's why I love this channel! 😎👍

Im from Acapulco, sadly is on the top lists of dangerous places in MX. But its just like they mention, we know where not to go, what not to be doing, its called common sense. And yet being on top of the most dangerous cities, there is no mass shootings in public areas, schools, malls etc.

I spent 2 weeks n Merida recently, to stay with my friend who lives there. She had to work so I was out and about on foot, alone, sometimes after dark and always felt safe. Police everywhere and when I was looking at my phone map as I walked past a policeman, he asked if I needed help. There’s a smaller town nearby, Valladolid, that I want to research for livability.

The funny thing is that most Mexicans hardly ever or just entirely never encounter any sort of Cartel violence or presence. With the country being as massive as it is & having a population of 133 Million people it’s rare you’ll ever encounter any sort of Cartel activity unless you actively look for it

You are correct. We have lived in Mexico for 16 years and have found it to be very safe!

I had my wedding in Guadalajara and had people cancel last minute (literally the day before) bc they were "scared" but yet go to Chicago and NYC with no issues. I wish I had this video back then to show them!

I have traveled all over Mexico the part 30 years and now live there for the past 3 years and never felt unsafe - except a little the first time I was shaken down for a bribe by a traffic cop. Like Andrew said if you stay in nicer areas of any city and have some street smarts you can travel almost anywhere just as you would in visiting places in the US. The constant narrative from the US that Mexico is unsafe does seem to me to be a strategic action by the US government to prevent more US citizens from realizing they could live a better quality life in Mexico if they come with some stable source of middle class income.

I moved to Merida, Mx from Phoenix, AZ 9 months ago and it’s the safest city I have ever lived in. Dig your show. I’m glad you are still personally making vids. You should feel proud for sticking it out and sticking with what works! Good Job
