What a crazy coincidence! I just was listening to Alexander O'Neal's 'If you were here tonight' for the past few days and this song was recommended today. I was thrown off with the intro because I wasn't expecting this to be a sample. I literally thought the song had started over. But she did good. I always enjoy her background vocals. And I saw that the original song was used for 80's nostalgic videos on Tik Tok. So that's pretty cool.
