In this video I am sharing with you my secret weapon - the slice serve. I talk about my experience as a competitive tennis player and how this serve helped me. I am showing you how the different contact points in slice serve will have different results and which one works best and why.

Hello, and thank you for stopping by to check out my videos! My name is Eli Pironkova, and I'm a former full-scholarship NCAA Division I tennis player at LMU. I’ve also had the privilege of traveling the pro WTA circuit as a hitting partner and coach to my sister, Tsvetana Pironkova, who was ranked No. 31 in the WTA and made an impressive run to the Wimbledon semifinals in 2010, defeating Venus Williams along the way.

In addition to my experience on the pro circuit, I’ve worked as a tennis pro at a high-performance academy in Los Angeles and at some of the most renowned tennis clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently, I work privately with tennis enthusiasts of all ages, helping them improve their skills and reach their goals.

I also share daily tennis tips and insights across my social media channels. Thanks again for being here!

👍Very succinct and to the point. Love the camera perspective of receiving the ball. Why other tennis YouTubers don't do this is beyond me.

Great video Like the position being shown as you hit the serve. I will try at 2 o'clock and see how it works!

how do you get it to place in the middle of the box (like a serve into the body) vs. a wide serve?

Contact point - are you saying this is 2 o'clock (etc) in relation to where the racket hits the ball (as if the ball has a clock on it) or in relation to where the ball is in relation to server's body, where server is in big imaginary clock (balltoss would be thrown to 2 o'clock position, etc)?

Thank you for the slice serve tutorial. May i ask which Extreme racquet, tension, and string you are using? Also, do you have a preferred multifilament string? Thanks again!

Много добре обяснено, може ли да направите видео за топ спин сервис, именно засичането на топката и силно изразен спин. Движението как се прави и има ли пронация при топ спин
Поздрави !

Very helpful, but could we also see a view from the side, so we can see how far into the court the toss should be?

Do you use this when serving from the AD side too?

You should check your 12oclock because it looks more a one then a twelve. You should maybe mention the more slice the less speed so 2oclock will be slow and people who understand tennis will see and know that 2ovlock curves more

My slice serve tends to bounce up. What could be wrong and how to adjust it? 🙏

That’s some nasty slices, but for second serve it will hit the net too often
