The maximum peak power is 532 hp at the motor shafts as is stated on Tesla's website:

The motors power handling ability adds up to 762 but they never produce that combined output together and Tesla doesn't add up the front and rear motors in a single number. They're careful to list the motors capabilities separately. They also list the maximum combined output which is 532 hp limited by what the battery can provide.

I seriously want tesla to make a supercar. The roadster was the prototype, and you put that kind of power into a RWD and remove 2000 pounds...with that kind of center and that kind of acceleration...holyshit what can beat it?
