North Korea sends troops to Russia to fight in Ukraine

NATO is warning that North Korea sending troops to fight against Ukraine would be a 'significant escalation'.

Reports by South Korea's spy agency say more than a thousand soldiers could be on their way.

The North Korean military recently carried out a recruitment drive as reports suggest hundreds of its troops could be fighting on the other side of the world.

South Korea says Pyongyang has sent 1,500 special forces troops to Russia, warning they are likely to join Moscow's war in Ukraine.

Seoul now says it is considering supplying Ukraine with weapons.

The west has done the same in Ukraine. Russia targeted a hotel full of French military personnel - and took them out with a missile strike. Both sides are playing this game. No doubt Russia saw this happening in Ukraine and decided to copy - the idea.
