YBP Filmy Never Disappoints 🗿
Bhai you always watch mainstream anime which are popular among anime enthusiasts, like Death Note & Attack on Titan (which are actually damn good don't get me wrong but they got the recognition which they deserve) you must watch some underrated animes which didn't get that recognition like the following:-
1. Heavenly Delusion (the speciality about this anime is that it didn't cater to the audience, it creates a mystery & nuance in the story, and without a single bit of hint it lets the audience unfold the mystery by themselves which makes you engaged and hooked to its plot, this is how you write a screenplay oriented series, 13 Episodes only).
2. Link Click (this is one of the best sci-fi thrillers of recent times, it delivers a lot of emotional backdrops with a mind-boggling story, the 1st season was good but after the 2nd season it became a masterpiece, 2 Seasons with 11 episodes each).
3. Violet Evergarden (a perfect amalgamation of steampunk & coming-of-age genre with a top-notch animation it will make you feel for the protagonist, the story emphasizes the aftermath of war, losing some loved ones and a journey to overcome that trauma, 13 Episodes only).
4. Naoki Urasawa's Monster (now who the hell is this Urasawa you may asked then here is a quote "Naoki Urasawa is the Best Storyteller of our century - Bong Joon-ho" and for the kind information the antagonist of Monster is the best manipulator ever created existed in fiction till date, obviously in terms of manipulation he is way superior than Light Yagami & Eren Yeager combined, 74 episodes only).
5. Frieren Beyond Journeys End (the fantasy genre died and no one actually cares for it, until Frieren comes and not only is it a good anime but it single handedly saved the entire fantasy genre by exploring new concepts in it & became the saviour of the entire genre, 28 episodes only).
6. The Apothecary Diaries (based on a Chinese Light Novel and made by Japan's one of the biggest animation studio TOHO Animations, it's a must watch, what's so special about it you asked, well to put it simply it fixed the biggest problem that exists for almost a decade, writing a strong Female protagonist without going edgy & making her important for the story with a complete realistic approach and make her relatable, 24 episodes only).
7. Vinland Saga (in today's modern time, where everyone wants to be cool, sigma, chad, etc, this one just asked you a simple question, is it all you really need for your life? Life has a purpose everyone has the right to live, if you hate someone they will hate you too & the cycle of hatred & violence doesn't stop, the idealism & character development is peak the redemption of the main character is the best redemption of any character in the entire fiction, in today's world where everyone just glorifies violence & gave silly reasons for fighting we finally got a idealistic protagonist who gave reasons for not fighting/hurting anyone, so live your life because "You have no enemies. The truth is no one has any enemies. There's no one who it's okay to hurt" - Thors Snorresson, 2 seasons with 24 episodes each, a 100% must watch).
And if you have come this long so here I have some manga recommendations also which are a must read:-
1. Homunculus (this manga is a dark twisted story, which focuses on human psychology, explores modern-day social issues like the dark sides of materialism & themes of individuality, and the creator Hideo Yamamoto symbolically represents spiritual regeneration, Volume No. 15).
2. Berserk (the greatest manga of all-time that never got a proper anime adaptation, it's considered to be the greatest manga ever created because of Kentaro Miura's god-level artwork, hyper-detailed beauty, dark setting, characters, parallels, wide range of themes/topics like human nature, morality, predetermination, free will, destiny, causality, human resilience, compartmentalization, stoicism, morality play, betrayal, friendship, comradery & human relations, and the parallels between the antagonist & the protagonist, which every other creators are yet trying to figure out how to create such parallels for there stories, Volume No. 41).
