Very true. Happened to me on Thursday. Made $1200 early. Thought I was going to have a big day. Overtraded and ended up with max loss -$1000. My fault.

Funny, I have experienced the opposite. I get all excited seeing big candles around the open and buy in, only to lose money. Then I realize I'm getting over hyped over big moves that bear no fruit and end up disciplining myself for a profit later. I'm new but I'm learning every day!

Happened to me yesterday. I was up $2100 and got greedy. Tanked 2 evaluations and ended -$3800. It was all ME. Regrouped and got my psychology back online. Made $1550 in 15 seconds premarket this morning on NQ and then WALKED AWAY. Shut down shop and preserved capital. Patrick’s videos are on point because he has the experience. Listen to him.

I used the practice account on top step the first time I tried combine trading because I was nervous I would blow my account up.
I made $6, 000 in my practice account ($50 k account) and decided to go to regular account. Made $2k and then blew my account on maximum loss rule. It was a while ago but I took a break. Trying to get back into it again. Think my strategy was good but couldn’t control my emotions when it came to the real account.

That is a factor today I was up 1, 000 and then I want more and lose 500 but I end my day 1, 300😮
