He's very radical and I don't agree with him a lot but it's rare to see a politician have the guts to apologise

"Tory minister (Nicky Morgan) admits 50, 000 extra nurses won’t be in place for 10 years and cannot explain how government will stop 18, 500 leaving (which were somehow included in the 50, 000 new recruits)"

Only 2 days for the first key promise to be broken (this has been quoted by the Torygraph)

Apology not accepted.

I’m not going to blame the victims of a campaign of lies. Nor will I demand their apology.

Should open your ears then Marr ... Both Corbyn & McDonnell apologised yesterday.

Now what we're waiting for is the mainstream media to do the same 😠😡😤

I know very few people want to hear this but - this is my opinion;

JC was always opposed to the EU in purely ideological terms - because he is a pure, unadulterated, unreconstructed, Social Democrat - and the EU has neoliberalism baked into its heart - which he cannot tollerate - as he is neoliberal intollerant...

BUT - above that, more significant to him, than that - he is a democrat - AND leader of a party that is massively in favour of staying inside the EU - two things, that are totally mutually exclusive and that is just the start- next;

Even though he is ideologically opposed to the EU, he has been forced to recognise that; leaving the EU - is bad for people, real people - you cannot point to a single, fact checked, bonafide report that shows the population of the UK being better-off post Brexit - yet, in their millions, the turkies, who are the population of dozens of Labour supporting constituencies around the country - are cueing up to be stunned, bled, gutted and trussed, thence to be served up on the dinner tables of the people who will actually benefit from Brexit.

Do you see - there is no upside for anyone in this process who actually cares about the outcome - the only people still rooting for Brexit, other than the turkies, are the billionaires, who fund the Tory party, and make money from chaos.

Corbyn could not win, the people will not win...

McDonnell has not accepted that his economic offer in the manifesto was not believable and not deliverable, was way overblown, and involved too much borrowing, tax and spending. It had too many elements even to be memorable for most people. As if that was not enough, Corbyn was incredibly unpopular in all regions, repeatedly proven and yet Labour ran him for a second losing general election, after being totally trounced in locals and Euros. Cobyn's unpopularity was proven to be greater than the fence sitting nonsense of their brexit position, which annoyed both sides. All of the attacks on Labour's most successful leader are self wrecking distractions if a party cannot deliver it's programme. Labour should ban Momentum as they banned Trotskyist entryists in the 80's, to be able re-build to win with a popular leader and a believable programme.

John Mc Donnel you and Jeremy Corbyn have nothing to apologise for again large numbers of the working class the thick element have put their faith in the conservatives as they did in 1979 we have had conservative goverments neo liberal labour goverment and we are at this stage it was the European union which protected us from this scourge otherwise we would be in an even worse mess.

Many thanks to the Guardian for all their help in gaining this huge Conservative majority . Without their sneering, condescending, arrogant, rude and contemptuous attitude towards working class people who voted
for Brexit it could have possibly been a bit more touch and go . We will raise a glass to you when the hands go up in Parliament and Brexit is voted through for all of your narcissistic endeavour . It's going to be a very Happy Christmas,

cheers,

The People

Nothing could be farther from the truth as John often likes to say, he was just disarming Chairman Marr (Mao)

The thought of Abacus Abbott in a senior position in government didn’t help. The amount of freebies being promised made many wonder if she had done the costings.
