The cash is king term is still going on, but credit cards or debit cards are be more common with the covid 19 situation, but it's better if you still have cash in your pocket, just in case.
With beds in a hotel, it depends on what type of rooms you are booking, usually there is a sidenote of what of bed is in that room.

There are no stores with high-priced items where cash is required. That would be far too dangerous. It affects bakeries, butchers, kiosks etc.! In Amerika people have loads of credit cards and enormous debts. With cash you have better control of your expenses. Everything has advantages and disadvantages. 💵💳

US doesn't want to tip the cleaning lady but tip 20-30% for every meal...quite bigotry

I expected the fact, that most of the stores are closed on sunday and holidays

Cash is King for everything below ~ 10 Euros! Card fees are high, sometimes 2 or 3%. And that is maybe the margin. So it doesn‘t make sense for them to take cards

9:20 Since COVID card useage has increased a lot here, also the NFC, contactless version. But don't expect every small retail to except those, especially bakerys, kiosks and small food shops still don't accept them. Mostly because of fees for small transactions.

The gentleman in the video is exaggerating a lot. Yes, there are facilities where you have to pay to go to the toilet. But that is actually the exception rather than the rule.
The service is also usually quite ok, if you are nice yourself.
Besides, we don't only eat sausage here in Germany.

The only place i ever had to pay for a toilet was MCdonalds, so it's either not true or Bavaria just has less than for example Berlin

Cash is still king and for good reason. The Nazi salut is very offensive not only for Germans but in regard of the victims.brits understand this, of course.

What is this guy talking about? :D
80% he said is just wrong.
He is in an old city, I don’t even know the place.

The most prefer credit card payments,
toilets are mostly free to use, just not on gas stations on the highway for example. You have to pay 70 cents, but you’ll get a 50 cent voucher for the shop, so toilet is 20 cents. And the toilet has a cleaner, it’s clean.

Normal public toilets like in the train station or in cities are free but not that clean.

And the service that didn’t get you with the English menu, they just were dumb.

Because of Corona you might pay more with Debit / Credit card

Debit more than Credit card

"When you do things in the bed"? Well, if you want to make babies, work on your technique. If you already have babies, put them into the kid's bed. Simple, really! ;)

Im sorry but half of the things he said are wrong, you can nearly always pay with card and we’re all super nice. That guy lives in an old German city and probably never was in a normal city. And people wore those clothes 20 years ago.
