I’m Japanese and I was surprised how accurate the translation is! Yonezu Kenshi’s Japanese lyrics are difficult even for Japanese since they have a lot of metaphors and hidden meaning but you really captured them all!

This song is so bittersweet and I love it for that reason. All of MHA openings are about the heroic traits it promots but this is so obviously Deku's childhood and personal identity song out of everything.
