How to Export Google Ads Imported Data from BigQuery into Google Sheets for Analysis!

In this video, I will discuss a cool feature within BigQuery that allows you to export any table data into Google Sheets. But wait, this is no ordinary Google Sheets file. This is a special template with connectivity with BigQuery and one which has built-in features like action buttons (Pivot Table, Chart, Extract Rows etc.) and a rather unique thing called Column Stats. The latter allows you to see metrics like average, median, frequency, max, min, unique values as well as a count and distribution plot, just in the click of a button. You can also see the actual query being used to generate these from within the Column Stats feature.

This is particularly useful if you consider the fact that Google Ads reports can be pretty painfully time-consuming at times. It is annoying and boring to create custom reports from scratch if you need to build something new. Much better to fall back on BigQuery and use SQL or perhaps even better, use this Google Sheets export.

I know this looks complicated - Google Ads to BigQuery to GSheets - but trust me it is not. You have all the required data at your fingertips once the Data Transfer is done from GAds into BIgQuery, so carrying out analysis is a low smoother this way.
