Cabin air filters help enhance the air quality inside your vehicle, creating a healthier, more comfortable environment for you and your passengers. However, you may want to replace or change the cabin filter in you Ford Ranger more often if:
-You or a frequent passenger suffers from allergies
-You or a frequent passenger has other respiratory problems
-You drive your Ranger on dirt roads or in excessively dusty conditions
-You drive your Ranger on heavily polluted areas

Perfect video of the damper reconnect. That is the only hard part really. Do from the bottom like they show here.

FYI, my 2021 Ranger had no dampening cord. Either they forgot to install it or they decided to omit it. I kept looking for something that wasn't there. Just had to squeeze both sides of glove box and change filter. Great video, thank you!

Thank you! A $25 filter (at the high end), it takes five minutes to replace and the Ford dealer charges almost $100 to replace it. That is crazy!

I don't see a dampening cord on my XLT! I crawled under and too a good look. Nothing is white or looks similar.
