Verdict reached in former San Diego TV anchor Sandra Maas’ lawsuit against KUSI

It took less than two days for the jury to come to a decision in the civil trial of former news anchor Sandra Maas against KUSI.

The jury was split on the claims but did award Sandra Maas more than $1.5 million for the difference in pay attributed to gender, past and future lost wages, and past and future emotional distress.

Wish she got more. $80K for 4 years of emotional distress?! $20K for each year for making her go through this?! KUSI is the Dollar Store of San Diego journalism, and, the jury verdict, once again, supports this.

Isn't it interesting how many men comment here against the jury's verdict?! More proof why Sandra Moss was successful. Good for her for fighting for her employment rights! She should have received more.
