UPDATE: The Israeli security cabinet has met and approved the ceasefire deal. At time of writing this comment, the full government cabinet is meeting and is expected to also approve the deal, with it set to take effect on Sunday.

We should call it a Reload, not a Ceasefire.

so remember when Ronald Reagan worked behind the scenes to prevent the release of US hostages during the 1980 election? Promising the Shah of Iran a sweetheart deal if he blocked the negotiations while the election campaign was taking place, only to suddenly sign the deal right before Reagan was sworn in as president? It made his incumbent opponent look weak and ineffective through the whole election period, and then allowed Reagan to act like the forceful dealmaker who could get things done when everything changed as soon as he took over negotiations. But of course in reality he just offered a foreign leader bribes to keep a crisis going for months longer than it needed to in order to help him gain power. Does that remind you of anything? Sound familiar at all? Probably nothing. Don't worry about it

1:29 Tel-Aviv is NOT the capital of Israel. Jerusalem is.

Also, Ben-Gvir said in a statement on Thursday that if the cease-fire will go into effect he will leave the government but continue to support it ftom the outside.

Smotrich doesn't seem to leave the government, so it's unlikely it will be toppled soon.

Never forget this guys - this shows that the USA ALWAYS had leverage over Israel, Biden just simply chose not to do anything about it. He truly has blood on his hands

Why would Poland and UK need a separate treaty/pact? If it makes sense have all NATO partners get on board.

"Protesters gathered in the capital of Tel Aviv" - only that's not the capital of Israel.

Jerusalem is the capital, not Tel Aviv, and Hamas has not long sought an end to the conflict, they have continued it by holding hostages. Normally you guys walk a balanced line, but on Israel some of your team's biases come through in your coverage
