Usually I stick a decal on and spray over. There's a oh-so-subtle outline of it which is cool.
I wish my vinyls detached from the paper easy like yours. I have to lay them flat and press into the graphic with brute strength for an hour, especially when it comes to any skinny lines that taper off. >.<

....a tip for sticker install. the 11s tape across the top. Square it level it....since you taped across the top you use it as a hinge to pull off the back paper. Squeegee it from the top like he did. So, you don't have to take it off and it back on again.

When applying the vinyl, you can just use one long strip across the edge you want to start squeegeeing from, once you have it positioned... no need to remove the piece and match the corner pieces unless you Really want to conserve tape. Less chance of having a fumble, and risk the backing sticking to itself, which typically turns into a re-cut. We also use an edge, or part of the transfer masking as an anchor -to the same end (and conserves tape, although isn't as sticky).
