So ive been experimenting with paper trading SPX options both in and otm. I frequently see only a handful <10 options on the bid ask. How realistic is it to get fills on these when bidding for more than that and what are the dangers of marketing into options rather than limit orders? Im excited to take some of these results live but have major concerns about the unrealistic nature of the sim account.

What do you do if the stock falls after making a call? If it's too far to sell options .. I assume we can't do anything but wait to sell call options.

According to TD, you cannot SELL to open, because you do not own shares. You can either Buy a Call or Buy a Put to open a position.

Yea but you could have just bought the shares at 134 and sold at 144 and made the same amount 1000 bucks without all those fancy pants trades so you are talking yourself out of relevance
