This is actually the truth. Nobody actually tells the truth I spent 5 years of my life learning korean and I’m still finding it hard. Any method cannot make your language learning easier and even if it does like she said it may stop working for you after a period of time and it because language gets harder as much as you get into it. So don’t lower your self esteem like I did, I stopped learning korean for two months because I was finding it hard to learn. Quitting something because it’s hard is the worst thing you can do. Thanks for being truthful 💗😭✨

Yeah, I figured out what need I have been seeking in language study through my current pursuit of Brazilian Portuguese: being seen as intelligent and competent. Even though I passed the highest level a foreigner could pass on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, I never got held in high regard when it came to employment. My Portuguese teacher has helped me realize that my competence and intelligence has been there all along.
