This is just objectively wrong. Most airlines do not force flight attendants to wear heels. Some do require them as dress code for while on the ground. But that isnt mandatory. I believe 40 to 50 years ago, yes all airlines required it as standard. But from then flight attendants jobs extended past, just helping out passengers while in flight.

Back in the 1960s, when they were still called stewardess. They did look like goddesses. I don't remember exactly, but I believe it was United Airlines . Their stewardess were wearing red capes ( down to the knees) and red caps. I remember back in the days when we were flying with Tail Draggers. And they had to bring a "ladder" up to the plane to load and unload passengers. Yes, I am that old. Oh, and people would dress up to fly. Unlike today , it's just Grey Hound in the air.
