It really helped for my top denture! Mine were too big and had no suction and I constantly had to take out the denture and clean it off while I was eating. This has solved the problem. I'm still working on getting the bottom one to fit correctly. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing your denture experiences & wisdom. It is now 8 months after extraction day and I’m still struggling with the lower denture. Thankfully, my upper denture is great! After 7 months, my dentist finally gave up trying to fix my lower immediate and remade it. I was hoping this would be an answer to prayer. While the remade one fits better, stays in longer while talking and drinking than the immediate one, it still pops out even while eating soft foods. I have very little lower ridge. My dentist says my only other option is a snap-in. I don’t want to go that route if I can avoid it. I’ll give this impression putty a try. Say a little prayer for me. I’m praying for you and your skin cancer battle.

Michelle ~ Do you KNOW you are a HUGE, HUGE BLESSING?? I had Novus brand lab-cured denture liners for 5 years -without a drop of ANY adhesive!! Yes, , that was both lower & upper!! (five years was the 'average life expectancy') Unfortunately, Novus is no longer available in the U.S. For more than a year I've been 'fussing around' - gone through two other lab-cured brands - neither one has been good (that's putting it mildly). Just found 'You' a few days ago - and I DO consider you a HUGE BLESSING. I AM going to follow through, and place an order for this product. P.S. You know more about dentures than any of the 'professionals' I've been to!! And, I am GREATLY Grateful for Y O U !!

I struggled forever with all the glues and adhesives!! Some helped some but still sucked. I got 2 implants on front bottom and now have my implant supported denture. OMG, for all of you guys struggling it is a total game changer!!! I don’t need adhesive but for extra hold I can use a little bit of powder and it’s all day stay I could eat finally whatever and whenever I want without having to plan it around adhesives!! Without these implants, I would have given up because I was so frustrated with my bottom denture never staying in, no matter how much or what I used.

I have nail supplies that honestly I can make a lot of this stuff. 😂. I heard someone mention the smell, taste of acrylic mixing up a lot of products, as well as the smell of monomer! A lot of this teeth stuff is acrylic. I'm going to go through all my nail stuff & see if I can make something. I'm trying to catch up on all your videos. I probably shouldn't watch the older ones anymore because you change, update what you use. I've already ordered a lot of stuff. So, Thank You for keeping it real. 🙌🏻💖

With the putty in your bottom denture does food stick on it while eating?

Thanks so much Michelle, i did buy the gum guard soft version and found them to be too floppy. But i need to have a resting place for my mouth. So i thought of using a chunk of the putty to make a full mouth Bite impression and wear that at night. but i did not want to pay the price charged by gum guard for the putty. I will be buying this putty and try my best to make a full mouth bite impression and wear that at night. Carolann

Can you use this on your tops too if they move around too much I am so afraid of using alot of adhesive I know this video is older but I'm having such a hard time only 4 weeks out...ty

Rewatching this has you thoughts on using this changed. How does this hold up with hot or liquid foods, and do you prefer the putty or the beads. My worse fears have happen, got bottoms done and was told Your Not Going To Be Happy, a week in and remake 3 is at lab, so once I’m healed and it’s fast as only front bottom removed had a partial for ten years as well as uppers, I’m hitting my stock pile to see what will hold.
Can eat if I take them out but need to try learning like I did with partial. I thought this wouldn’t be as bad as I have uppers. Boy was I wrong.

I bought the Gum Guards. Terrible waste of money. Really uncomfortable, I bought them to sleep in because I use a c-pap and have a hard time getting a good mask fit. Didn’t help, sadly.

No apology needed. When I tried it, my first impression was that it was like impression putty, but I assumed there was a difference to optimize for long-term use in the mouth rather than 5 minutes. Easy to assume there is something different for it's specific use.
