Math Magic Card Trick - Rolling 3 Dice

Показать описание
Have a spectator roll 3 dice. Count out cards equal to the sum of the dice. Then remove the middle value dice. From the smaller deck, count out cards equal to the sum of the remaining two dice and place the rest of the deck on top. Do this 3 times for the 3 dice they rolled. Have them pick the top card. You can predict which card the spectator has.

This is impressive because you could not have predicted the roll of the 3 dice or what the middle value would be.

I developed the part in the trick about rolling 3 dice and removing the middle value. Once you understand "Low Down Triple Dealing" you can probably figure out the dice part.

There's a little fact to pay attention at: you have to decide the dice order.
Suppose you have 1, 2, 6 as result, which add up to 9. Now, if you put them in order 1, 6, 2 you remove the 6, with a remaining sum of 3, but 3 is less than round(half of 9) (which is round(4, 5) = 5). In fact I discovered that this trick works if and only if the sum of the 2 dice is equal to the half + 1 of the 3 dice's sum :)
Sorry for the English, I'm italian XD

You may let the spectator to choose what dice to remove... It don´t need to be the middle one.

What if the dice shows 1, 4, 5 which adds up to 10, and the chosen cards don't contain an ace of spades?

Without the explanation of the math, or the method to repeat it, it's useless
