The Revolution, all revolutions are hard but the Chinese one was something else, after decades fighting the nationalists AND the Japanese, the Red Army managed to win against all odds and on top of that, a few years later the devastated country along with Korea, later DPRK, kicked out the world superpowers of US AND UN!!! Even the mighty USSR couldn't stand the attacks on all fronts from the capitalist imperialists and fell, China on the other hand is stronger than ever, revolution is only one battle in a long, long war, China have learned from USSR's mistakes. Some adaptations had to be made in order to China to thrive but I wouldn't call it revisionism nor call it "state capitalism" or something lol as some may say.

The history, culture, art, heritage, food, scenery, and China's steadfast iron will to help fight climate, helping to end global poverty, China's resolve in building peace, stability and prosperity in the world is what impresses me most about China.

I love China, My Grandparents were born there. I have visited China many times. Still much to see. One thing needs to change is Restaurant needs to have English on menu. We went in many and most dont have English. Remember the Bruce Lee movie when he just pointed on the menu and Thats how we felt LOL/

Normalcy of Chinese. Living in the US for 20 years I have met people from all over the world. Their cultures and their sets of ethical values were sometimes farther and sometimes closer to mine. Even American values were somewhat off and we are both white race. But American culture has evolved from British, while culture of continental Europe is based on culture of France. My country was influenced not only by France, but also by Russia.
Several years ago I met a Chinese woman, we worked for the same company and became friends. What surprised me was that from the very beginning we had the same set of values. We instictively new what was right and what was wrong, what was fair and unfair. I could see a lot of our diferences between habits or behavior, culture, but the values were the same. I will never forget her. And the hope she gave me.

peole complain China not having English in most writings! I am a little bot sad to gear this! The most spoken language is Chinese and you demand of speaking English everywhere? We should learn the basics of that country where we go to travel! every language has their beauty! And English and Chinese are the common to learn by everyone now!
