I lost count of how many times I changed settings to get better performance. Helldivers 2 has a serious optimization problem that only gets worse with each update. If I lose more fps on the pace I am losing, next update I'll be playing the game with 25 fps...

It is because the game has trash vectoring. It needs some serious work on efficiency

I was getting 120 average with a 3090 and since the updates it's around 90ish. The lows are pretty bad though with all the settings max out.
That's native 1440p 240 hz.

well my proc doesnt have avx so i cant launch it at all

I run a Radeon 6650XT with 8GB and an AMD 5700X CPU. I just mimicked most of the settings in the vid and I get 86-88 fps on the ship's bridge looking into space. My major divergences are 1) my vertical Field-of-View is only at 55 and 2) I left rendering at Quality. I didn't change the vertical FoV because I've never been unhappy with my in-game FoV. The most noticeable degradation is the disappearance of the holographic globe above the round planning table. Turning on ASync Compute drops my fps to 78-83, so I will be leaving that off for now.

Having a 4070 super OC edition, all new pc spects. 32 ram ddr5, ssd 1 tb and a veri good processor and this game in 1080p is a pain in the ass sits at 60 fps on hardest modes like whyyy? Cyberpunk sits with rautracing at 120 fps ...😂

I never had a problem with my cpu but for this game it has to work hard

You know what’s funny. I have a 4070, and the fps is pretty good on extreme or below, but whenever I play anything above that, no matter what settings I use, I get only 55/65 fps. And that’s a 4070!!! I mean I’m not surprised since the game itself is heavy cpu bound, but I do have a good cpu too. I mean, someone on a 2060 had similar performance to me, on the higher difficulty’s, so it tells me part of it is the game. Maybe it’s not optimised as of yet for a lot of enemies. But in general I’d say it’s a pretty well optimised game

From what I have gathered from other people so far; the PC version of the game engine just has a bad CPU optimisation. If you play on 1440P or above resolution you will struggle to maintain 60 FPS especially in the Jungle biome on higher difficulty mission unless you have the latest high end AMD CPUs such as the 7800X or above!
