Just made it to the end, thanks for the plug 😅. Definitely had some of those spring Radio Shack kits back in the day. On the subject of controlling Lego with a touchscreen PC the software is absolutely official Lego, the only way it could be more pure is if Lego released their own personal computer back in the day 😁. Also I did end up ordering the book halfway through the video, you make a great salesman!

You could do a BrickTsar after dark video with all your glowzone. I’m not a light kit builder but the light show at Brickworld Chicago is epic

Hey Bricktsar!

Firstly, cool video.

Second, quick BAT, which should I get, blue or green? That of course referring to the next Lego My Own Train engine that I’ll order. This new engine shall be a small MOT engine with tender, as I’ve already got both tank engines and a large engine with tender. Sadly, blue and green are the only colors I don’t have for a MOT engine and the only engine I’m missing is the small with tender.

It’s like picking between ketchup and mustard, except in this case I don’t have a preference.

Anyways, I gotta go, am waiting on the new MOT stickers I just ordered from the Netherlands, via Bricklink, and thus have to stare at my two newest MOT large and small tank engines without their stickers until these new stickers arrive.

Bye! Rockatoa, Brickticks out!

I understand why they gave you the lighting book, I'm interested in it now. 🙂 My only LEGO lighting experience was with the 970 lighting set. How to hide the biggest battery you've ever seen?

Not to put too fine a point on it:
Say I'm the only bee in your bonnet
Make a little birdhouse in your soul

I haven't really thought about lighting up any bricks since my Lego trains operate only in the daytime, in dark territory and all the switches are hand thrown. I would just requires simple engine headlights. My first thought at the start of the video...."Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. Your my only hope."

Few thoughts, first why was there no whistling in the dark? Next, lighting does look good but it certainly isn’t for everyone. It can get quite complicated.
Also glad we learned that 40 years without using something is the Jaabo threshold for discarding crap you don’t need.
Yes Brian is very talented with all things electronic Lego.
Last thought, sad there have been no comments on sapphire bullets, triangle man, or road movies to Berlin.
