We asked our Oxford Mathematicians to tell us what was bugging them, research or otherwise, in 60 seconds or less. The result was our #WhatsOnYourMind films. Now we have compiled them. Here is Series 1.

It's always a pleasure listening to Sir. Roger Penrose, it's nothing short of fascinating.
the girl at 3:25 has a very contagious positive energy as well, I was smiling the whole way through her part.
Every person had such amazing and thought-provoking things to say, and spoke with passion about their subjects, that you can't help but want to know more! not just about the subject, but also about the person behind ( to me both are equally fascinating ).

Listening to them makes me careless about my insecurities, about whether or not I am intelligent enough to become a Mathematician, and makes me realize that I don't care if I am a bad mathematician. I just want to be one of them.

I found this video to be very heart warming ❤.

The maths of the octopus. Chromatophoric alteration of appearance. Why the short life span alongside marvelous abilities and survival skills.
Unusual brain and neural networks. The probability of an organism evolving over time to become an octopus. Etc.
